Glass curtains and pergolas need little maintenance, even near the sea. Clean the curtains with water and an ordinary glass cleaner, and keep the tracks clear of the sand blown in by the levante wind. For bioclimatic pergolas, cleaning the louvres and gutters with water and mild soap a couple of times a year is enough. On the Cádiz coast, rinse off the salt with fresh water more often and, if the system is motorised, have the motor checked regularly.
