Glass curtains
We enclose apartment terraces in Costa Ballena and villa porches in Punta Candor or Regla to create a space sheltered from the wind with an uninterrupted sea view.

We shelter terraces, porches and gardens in Rota, Costa Ballena and Chipiona from the wind with made-to-measure glass curtains, pergolas and sun protection.
Rota and Chipiona share a coastline open to the Atlantic, and with it a wind that rarely lets up. In seafront homes and in the developments next to the beach, you only really get to use the terrace if it's sheltered from the wind and the sand. That's why glass curtains and pergolas with side enclosures are so common here: they let you enjoy the sea in peace even on windy days.
From our base in El Puerto we reach Rota in about 25 minutes and Chipiona in about 35. We cover Rota's old town, the La Costilla and Punta Candor beaches, the Costa Ballena development, which straddles both municipalities, and Chipiona from the centre to the Regla area and the coast towards Sanlúcar.
We install ONE, RUN, BIG and SUB glass curtains, bioclimatic and fixed pergolas, retractable roofs, Bandalux sun protection and carports. In holiday homes we also replace windows with Finstral frames, which improve insulation while the house is shut up for long periods.
And the rest of the municipality. Free site visit and measuring.

In gardens and pool areas, a louvred pergola gives adjustable shade and, with side enclosures, becomes an outdoor living room you can use for much of the year.

Vertical awnings with side channels are the most stable option on a windy coast. They protect from the westerly sun and the sand without flapping in the wind.

For patios and terraces of town houses in the centre of Rota or Chipiona, a retractable roof lets you open up in good weather and close it when the wind or rain arrives.

They protect your car from the sun and salt air at holiday homes that stand empty for weeks, using aluminium designed for the coast.

Rota and Chipiona take the full force of the poniente, the westerly wind that arrives laden with moisture and salt, while on levante days the dry easterly blows sand onto terraces and gardens. For these conditions we calculate the thickness of the tempered glass according to the height of the opening and its exposure, reinforce the anchoring on upper floors and porches facing the sea, and use powder-coated aluminium with a marine-grade pre-treatment. For bioclimatic pergolas we choose structures with good wind resistance and louvres that close completely; for sun protection we recommend side-channel screen blinds, which stop the fabric moving in gusts. Motors are fitted with wind sensors where the location calls for it.
Many of the homes in Rota and Chipiona are holiday or seasonal properties: apartments and townhouses in Costa Ballena, villas in Punta Candor and Aguadulce, and beach houses around Regla. For these owners it matters that the enclosure protects the house while it's shut up, that maintenance is minimal and that we can coordinate the installation even when they're not in the area. In the town centres, houses with patios and roof terraces and flats with terraces are the norm. We also work for bars and restaurants on the seafronts of both towns that need terraces sheltered from the wind in spring and autumn, and for residents' associations in developments that want the same enclosure system on every home.
Yes. We can measure up in a single visit and coordinate the installation by phone or WhatsApp to fit in with your stay or with someone you trust who can let us in. We keep you informed at every step.
Glass curtains with tempered glass of the right thickness and reinforced anchoring stand up well to the usual winds in the area. For large or very exposed openings we consider systems with a reinforced top profile and explain the options during the visit.
In Costa Ballena and other developments with a residents' association you'll need its approval, and many have shared design rules. The council may also require a licence or a declaración responsable (self-declaration) depending on the work; we check this before manufacturing.
